What to expect
Our weekend sessions are offered to all children and young people between the ages of 4 – 17.

Weekend: 1-1 sessions
All of our sessions are 1 to 1 and include grooming/brushing, stable duties, walking the donkeys,
learning about the horses, obstacle courses, riding (on a lead rein, in walk only) and feeding and looking after our other animals.
Ages: 4*–12
Availability: Sessions are 1 hour and run between the following times:
10:00 – 14:00: Saturday
10:00 – 14:00: Sunday
Cost: 60 minutes – £40perchild
Location: Duck Lane, Benington, SG2 7LJ
*Must be at least 4 years of old as our insurance does not cover under 4 years.
Farmyard activities
Stable fun
Kids get hands-on experience with stable tasks, learning about animal care in a safe and supportive environment.
Collecting Eggs
Collect our freshly laid eggs and even take some home for your supper if you are hungry, you really can’t get better than that!
Painting, plaiting & bows
A creative activity where children decorate the ponies with safe paints, plait manes, and add bows, expressing their individuality.
Brushing and pampering
Children enjoy bonding with the ponies through gentle grooming, helping to build trust and confidence around the animals.
Leading the ponies around an obstacle course
Young people guide the ponies through fun challenges, developing communication skills and teamwork.
Chicken feeding & handling
Children feed and gently handle chickens, learning about care, responsibility, and the quirks of these curious birds.
Pony and donkey games
Engaging games with the ponies and donkeys encourage interaction, coordination, and a sense of achievement.
Riding on a lead rein (in walk only)
A calm, supported riding experience helps build confidence and balance while enjoying the pony’s movement.
